Cranberry Salsa
The perfect combo of tart, sweet, and spicy, this seasonal salsa is fantastic on chicken tacos, with chips and queso, or as a Thanksgiving appetizer. Dinner guests love this served with cream cheese and crackers or with a whipped honey ricotta.
INGREDIENTS
1 bag of cranberries (12-16oz)
1/2 of a small red onion, finely diced
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1/4 cup Golden Forrest Sweet & Spicy Jalapeños, roughly chopped (or 1 fresh jalapeño, finely diced)
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/8 cup of Sweet & Spicy Jalapeño brine - optional for a little extra heat
Juice of 1 lime
INSTRUCTIONS
Add cranberries to a food processor and pulse until desired consistency.
Add cranberries with all other prepared ingredients to a bowl and stir to thoroughly combine.
Chill in fridge and enjoy!
