Cranberry Salsa

The perfect combo of tart, sweet, and spicy, this seasonal salsa is fantastic on chicken tacos, with chips and queso, or as a Thanksgiving appetizer. Dinner guests love this served with cream cheese and crackers or with a whipped honey ricotta.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bag of cranberries (12-16oz)

  • 1/2 of a small red onion, finely diced

  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup Golden Forrest Sweet & Spicy Jalapeños, roughly chopped (or 1 fresh jalapeño, finely diced)

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/8 cup of Sweet & Spicy Jalapeño brine - optional for a little extra heat

  • Juice of 1 lime

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add cranberries to a food processor and pulse until desired consistency.

  2. Add cranberries with all other prepared ingredients to a bowl and stir to thoroughly combine.

  3. Chill in fridge and enjoy!
